Val Demings wants to change the way we power our economy by:
- Ending our dependence on foreign oil and ending welfare to big oil companies for importing foreign oil;
- Investing in new sources of alternative energy like wind, solar and biomass;
- Capping carbon emissions to encourage industry to invest in alternative forms of energy;
- Providing safe and environmentally friendly ways to explore for new domestic sources of energy.
