As the daughter of a maid and a janitor, Val knows how important it is to have jobs offering livable wages in our community.  She is committed to promoting policies designed to create and retain good-paying jobs in our changing global economy, and investing in technology training and STEM education for our workforce. Chief Demings is committed to protecting Medicare and Social Security for our seniors. She will fight to ensure that our seniors who want to retire, can do so with the respect and dignity they deserve.
