Former Orlando Police Chief Val Demings has announced that her campaign for Congress in Florida’s 10th District has been endorsed by ROSA PAC, a national political action committee solely committed to electing more women of color to the U.S. Congress.
“Chief Val Demings broke barriers and shattered glass ceilings to become the first female African American chief of police in Orlando,” said Anita Estell, Founder and Chair of ROSA PAC, Raising Our Sisters’ Assets Political Action Committee. “Chief Demings has demonstrated unwavering leadership in championing issues on behalf of women of color in Central Florida and beyond.
