Chief Val Demings Massively Outraises Marco Rubio for Fourth Consecutive Quarter, Reports Higher Cash-On-Hand
ORLANDO— Today, it was reported that U.S. Senate candidate and former Orlando Chief of Police Congresswoman Val Demings nearly doubled Marco Rubio’s fundraising in Q1 of 2022 and had a higher cash-on-hand with Chief Demings reporting $13.1 million versus Rubio’s $13 million. This is the fourth consecutive quarter Demings has outraised Rubio, with an average Q1 online donation of $23.50.
“We are building the most robust campaign Rubio has ever faced, and we’re dedicated to electing 27-year law enforcement officer Chief Demings to the United State Senate and holding career politician Marco Rubio accountable for putting his party bosses above everyday Floridians,” said Demings Campaign Manager Zack Carroll. “We have the resources to compete and hold Marco Rubio accountable for his weak leadership in the Senate. This incredible momentum proves that Floridians are ready for a senator who has the courage to take on the tough fights for us — and they’re fired-up to elect Chief Demings in November.”
