BREAKING: Wall Street Lobbyists Launch Ads Bailing Out Marco Rubio
ORLANDO — After being out-fundraised for four consecutive quarters, and the Demings campaign launching an eight-figure TV buy, Marco Rubio’s Wall Street special interest friends launched a misleading ad to bail out his failing campaign.
Demings campaign communications director Christian Slater released the following statement in response:
“Marco Rubio is desperately relying on his special interest Wall Street friends to bail him out after a year of failing to generate momentum for his reelection. The fact is that Marco Rubio has time and again put wealthy special interests and partisan politics before doing what’s best for Florida. No matter how much money Rubio’s special interest donors dump into Florida, this race is about one thing: a cop on the beat running against a career politician.”
