FIRST AD: Val Demings Highlights Law Enforcement Career and Takes on Bad Washington Ideas
ORLANDO — Today, Val Demings for U.S. Senate released the campaign’s first television ad, which highlights Chief Demings’ 27-year law enforcement career where she oversaw a 40% drop in violent crime as Orlando’s Chief of Police.
This first television ad is part of a significant statewide digital and television buy and is released as Chief Demings takes her campaign across Florida to meet with voters in every corner of the state. The ad will run across platforms in English and Spanish, and is the first statewide media buy from a Florida candidate for U.S. Senate.
“Protect and serve Florida? That’s what I’ve done as a police officer and as Chief,” Chief Demings says in the ad. “In the Senate, I’ll protect Florida from bad ideas like defunding the police — that’s just crazy. I’m Val Demings and I approve this message because Florida, it’s time to send a cop on the beat to the Senate.”
